What is Aerodrome Accountable Manager?
The aerodrome accountable manager is a person nominated by the aerodrome operator and has the authority for ensuring that all activities can be financed and carried out in accordance with the applicable requirements. The aerodrome accountable manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining and promoting an effective safety management system.
Accountable Managers and their senior staff have a pivotal role to play in aerodrome safety. This course, delivered by experienced UK CAA Inspectors, is based on ICAO, EASA and UK CAA documentation and requirements around the role of the Accountable Manager, and others responsible for safety.
The course is interactive, with group activities and open discussion.
