Virtual Training during COVID-19

As part of our commitment to supporting your learning and development in a COVID-19 environment, we are pleased to inform you that this course will be delivered virtually using WebEx video conferencing by Cisco. This means you will still get the same level of expert, award-winning training that you expect from CAAi, but from the safety and convenience of your remote working location. Our face-to-face classroom courses resume in October 2020 with special COVID-19 measures in place.

What is an EASA Part 21 Design Organisation Approval?

EASA Part 21 Subpart J details the elements required of a design organisation in order to hold an EASA Design Organisation Approval (DOA). The DOA grants privileges for the organisation to design new products, product modifications or repairs and may include approval for these designs.

Course Overview

This course provides delegates with an understanding of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 21 Subpart J and the associated topics concerning the changes to Type Design, Supplementary Type Certificates (STC) (modifications) and repairs.

  • How to maintain a Part 21 Subpart J approval ensuring compliance at all time

Prerequisites

It would be advantageous for delegates to be familiar with, or have experience of working in, a design-related organisation.
