What is Auditing of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Disciplines?

Auditing of NDT disciplines in aviation involves the systematic examination and evaluation of processes, procedures, and personnel involved in conducting NDT inspections on aircraft and aircraft components. NDT techniques are crucial for detecting defects or irregularities in aircraft structures without causing damage. Audits ensure that NDT procedures are being followed correctly, equipment is maintained properly, and personnel are trained and qualified to perform NDT inspections effectively. Auditing helps to maintain safety standards, compliance with regulations, and the overall airworthiness of aircraft.
