The theme for this year is the “pathway to realising the African dream – How Africa’s aviation can move to the next level” and will be hosted by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
The aim of the occasion is to see growth in MRO and training services, and further development of airports around the country, allowing to better serve the African countries’ different requirements for open skies and expansion.
Silke Buckley, Head of Training at CAA International, will join a panel discussion on day two, with a focus on ‘Future Workforce: Changing approaches to Recruitment, Retention, Training and Culture – Creating world class facilities for Africa’.
Kevin Sawyer Msc MSyl MIReg, Head of International Operations in Aviation Security at CAA International will also be participating in a panel discussion on day two, targeting Aviation Safety.
CAAi will have a booth for the duration of the summit to allow visitors to meet the team and discuss your State’s regulatory challenges, training requirements and opportunities to optimise your aviation system.
