This course provides an introduction to the philosophy established in ICAO 9625 Manual of Criteria for the Qualification of Flight Simulation Training Devices Volume I that matches training/training to proficiency tasks for all license training types to 12 FSTD features and 4 feature fidelity levels for fixed wing aircraft.
This course provides an introduction to the EU requirements governing the qualification of FSTDs and their ongoing operation. All types of FSTD are covered, from the generic Flight Navigation Procedural Trainer (FNPT) through to the fully type-specific Full Flight Simulator (FFS).
