What is a cybersecurity culture?
A cybersecurity culture refers to an organisational mindset where security is integrated into every aspect of the workplace. It emphasises the collective responsibility of all employees to protect data, systems, and networks from cyber threats. This culture is built on awareness, training, and open communication, where everyone, from leadership to entry-level staff, understands the importance of cybersecurity and adheres to best practices. A strong cybersecurity culture fosters vigilance, proactive behaviour, and a shared commitment to safeguarding sensitive information, ensuring that security is a priority at all levels of the organisation.
This course is suitable for and will support all staff in the aviation community, including those from organisations of all sizes.
This course will also provide support and guidance to International delegates, as the majority of the requirements stem from ICAO.
By the end of this course, through presentation and interactive discussion, delegates will demonstrate:

Meet your Instructors
Jonathan Haskoll
Aviation Cybersecurity Oversight
Jonathan joined the UK CAA in 2019 and spent 5 years delivering cybersecurity oversight of aviation. He primarily focused on aerodromes and Air Navigation Service Providers through the UK’s Cybersecurity Oversight Process for Aviation CAP1753, before joining the Cybersecurity Policy team in 2024, setting regulatory direction across the UK aviation industry and providing guidance and expertise to organisations across the range of applicable cyber regulations.
Before joining the UK CAA, Jonathan spent 15 years in the UK Civil Service, holding positions within the Department for Transport, DEFRA and the Cabinet Office, implementing oversight regimes and overseeing compliance with security and cybersecurity regulations across Critical National Infrastructure sectors.
Jonathan’s certifications include GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT) and ISMS Lead Auditor (CIS LA).
