Since booking, my country has been added to the exempt list. Can I still attend?

I am travelling from overseas. Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. All delegates from outside the UK will need to provide proof of travel and proof of insurance in advance. All delegates (from the UK and overseas) will be asked to give details of an emergency contact, in case you fall ill while attending the course.

On the day

What do I need to do when I arrive at Aviation House?

Delegates will need to complete the declaration on arrival at Aviation House to confirm they are COVID-19 symptoms free and feeling well.  You will be then collected and escorted to the training room. Please do not arrive more than 30 minutes before training.

Will I need to social distance?

Yes. We ask all visitors to adhere to our social distancing policy. This includes a 2-metre distance between you and others. We ask all delegates to follow a one-way system where applicable. In the training room, desks will be pre-allocated, with each desk utilised by one delegate at a time.

Will I be able to use lift?

To maintain social distancing, the lifts in Aviation House are not in use. Delegates will be asked to take the stairs to the third floor where the course will take place. If you have any mobility issues, please advise the training coordinator so we can prepare alternative arrangements (i.e. using the elevator instead with one person at a time in a lift).

Will I need to use face coverings and will these be provided?

Face coverings are compulsory where 2-metre distancing cannot be adhered to or whilst moving around Aviation House. Please bring your face coverings. Face coverings do not have to be worn whilst in the training room, as long as social distancing is adhered to.
