How do I book a training course?
All our courses can be booked direct on our website. For our course schedule, please visit https://caainternational.com/training-services/upcoming-training-courses/
If you would like to discuss an in-company or tailored training course, please get in touch.
Why can I not see a course?
To allow you to comfortably browse our entire course catalogue, you will be able to select filters on the left side of the page. Please ensure that all filters are marked as not selected, when you have problems finding a course you are looking for.
Alternatively feel free to contact our training team directly to discuss what courses we can recommend you. We can also offer tailored training courses in case you can’t find what you are looking for, so please do get in touch with us to discuss. You will also be able to find out more information on the tailored training services we offer on our dedicated page.

If the course is full, will I automatically be transferred to the next available one?
Should a course you have selected already be full, please get in contact with the training team and we will explore options.
Will I have to prepare anything for the course?
Some courses will require you to do some preparatory work in advance of the course. You will be able to find all details relating to your selected course on our CAAi Training portal.
We will send you log in details to our CAAi Training portal as soon as your place on the course has been confirmed. Please feel free to contact our friendly training team anytime if you have any questions regarding this system or your booking in general. Will there be an exam?
Our courses do not currently include an exam.
How will I know where the course will take place and how to get there?
We will send you an email with instructions on where the course will take place, how to get there and other useful information, a few weeks before your course.
Please note that we will only send these instructions to fully confirmed delegates, so please ensure on-time payments in case of paying via invoice.

During the course
How do I get to the training centre?
We conduct courses in the UK, Malaysia and Singapore. For details and travel advice for your chosen training centre, please visit our training centre webpage.
What do I need to do when I arrive at Aviation House?
Delegates will need to complete the declaration on arrival at Aviation House to confirm they are COVID-19 symptoms free and feeling well. You will be then collected and escorted to the training room. Our courses usually start at 9:00 am. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the start of the course.
Will refreshments and lunch be provided?
Yes. Refreshments and lunch are included with the course. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.
Will I get a certificate of attendance?
We will be able to issue you with a certificate of attendance at the end of the course. This will be sent to you via email to the address used with your registration. You will also be able to download your certificate at any point in the future, when accessing our Training portal.

General Questions
How big are your classes?
Our course sizes do vary depending on the course you are attending. Typically, you can expect anything from a minimum of 5 attendees up to a maximum of 20.
How long are your courses?
The duration of each course does vary. Our shortest course is half a day, and our longest course we offer lasts 10 days.
Do you offer training at weekends or in the evenings?
Our courses are typically available Monday to Friday during office hours.

Can you tailor the content of my course?

What experience do your trainers have?
Our courses are taught by practising UK CAA regulators and world-renowned industry experts. Using up-to-date active, experimental and traditional training methods, our instructors encourage effective knowledge sharing, learning and application of the skills and capabilities needed for the real-world environment. Do you have a prayer room?
Yes, in Aviation House, we have a dedicated prayer room that can be found on the second floor. If you wish to visit the prayer room during your visit, please speak to your Training Coordinator.
Is there car parking at Aviation House?
Our visitors carpark is located at the front of Aviation House.
Disabled parking bays are marked out and reserved for visitors who are mobility disabled. These bays are located close to the entrance doors and are for the exclusive use of registered disabled visitors only.
Free electric vehicle charging is also available. This is provided on a first come, first served basis and cannot be booked in advance.

Can I use my phone during the course?
We ask delegates not to use their phones in the classroom. It’s fair to say that doing so would be a distraction to you, the trainer and any other delegates in attendance and therefore affect everyone’s enjoyment of the day.
There are breaks throughout the day and as such, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to check in with work. If you need to take a call or email urgently, please mention this to the trainer and they will arrange for you to leave the training room to do so.
If you need to leave the classroom to make privacy to make a call, you are welcome to.
Payment and VAT
How can I pay for my booking?
Payment can be made online by debit/credit card (we do not accept AMEX), or by Invoice (BACS/Bank Transfer).
How will I know if I have to pay VAT (Value Added Tax)?
On all questions around VAT please also see our dedicated VAT page, which details in more detail who is required to pay VAT and who may be VAT exempt.

Why did I receive an email to ask for more evidence on my tax status, even though I am a business from inside the EU?
To produce your invoice as swiftly and quickly as possible, we will use the European database to verify your tax information. However in cases where the database is unavailable, we may ask you to provide us with additional evidence of your tax status. This could be a copy of your tax registration certificate or comparable documentation.

If I booked a course, but can’t attend, will I receive a refund?
If you can’t attend a course you have already booked, please do contact us immediately to discuss your circumstances in more detail. You can contact our training team either via email on training@caainternational.com or via telephone on +44 (0)330 022 4401.
Attending from outside the UK
How can I get a visa letter to satisfy immigration around my reason for travelling to the UK?
If you will require a visa letter, please tick the box ‘visa letter’ during your check out process. As soon as your status is fully confirmed, we will send you your visa letter via email. Please ensure any outstanding payments are completed well before the training, to enable us to send you this letter as soon as possible.
Will the visa letter cover only the days that the course takes place, or does it allow extra travel time?
The visa letter will cover only the days of the training, but this does allow you to travel to the training. Please note though that the letter will not cover any additional days you may wish to stay in the UK.
If the course is cancelled, will I get a refund for my visa booking?
We always do our very best to avoid any changes to course dates. In the unlikely event that a date does have to change, we will not be able to refund any visa booking or other travel related costs. Will CAAi arrange my travel and hotel booking?
As part of our training, we will provide you with suggestions for nearby hotels and where applicable discounted rates. CAAi does however not arrange your travel for you.
