CAA International (CAAi) has been appointed as a sub-contractor to French risk and safety management specialists, Apave Aeroservices, to deliver technical assistance and training services under a new EASA framework contract. The contract, titled Lot 1: Aviation-related consultancy support to EASA’s international cooperation activities, is managed by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The consortium led by Apave Aeroservices brings together AESA (Spain), SENASA (Spain), CAA International (UK), and ALG Global Infrastructure Advisors (Spain), combining extensive expertise in aviation consultancy, training, and regulatory support.

Over the next four years, CAAi in partnership with Apave, will look to provide a comprehensive range of consultancy, technical advice, and training services to countries outside the European Union. This includes nations across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and select European neighbouring countries.  

These services will support EASA’s ongoing mission to strengthen aviation safety and regulatory standards globally. Under this contract, CAAi will provide expertise across a variety of aviation regulatory areas, including Safety, Air Traffic Management/Air Navigation Services, Sustainable Aviation Fuels, Cybersecurity, ANSP Certification, Legislation, Licensing, Aircraft Operations, Airworthiness, Maintenance, Accident and Incident Investigation, Aerodromes, Security, Drones, and Economic Regulation.
