The theme for this year is Reconnecting the World: Runway to Aviation Recovery and will be hosted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Türkiye, where the Symposium will be composed of interactive panels highlighting how ICAO supports Member States in the implementation of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS) through innovative implementation support and training activities.
The aim of the event is to highlight the latest digital tools, key initiatives, and collaborative endeavours to support aviation recovery, innovation, resilience, sustainable development, and operational solutions beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
Maria Rueda, Managing Director at CAA International, will be joining a panel discussion on 29 June, “Enhancing Partnerships for Efficient, Sustainable and Inclusive Implementation Support Activities”, with a primary focus on the importance of establishing partnerships with international organisations as well as industry players to provide Member States with more efficient, sustainable, and inclusive support for their compliance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices.
CAAi will have a booth throughout the event to allow visitors to meet the team and discuss your State’s regulatory challenges, training requirements and opportunities to optimise your aviation system.
Silke Buckley, Senior Manager in International Operations Training at CAAi will be joining Maria at the symposium.
If you would like to pre-arrange a meeting with a member of our team, please email international@caa.co.uk.
