Senior Development Manager

Asimina is a Senior Manager at CAA International and is also a Researcher at Cranfield University working on the analysis of the risk of climate hazards to aviation.

Asimina has a first degree in earth sciences, an MSc in environmental planning and an MSc by Research in airport environmental strategy assessment and water management efficiency.

Asimina has worked as a researcher and consultant conducting geo-environmental assessments for land use and urban resilient planning, and supporting projects focused on transport sustainable development. Her research interests focus on climate resilience, climate change adaptation, environmental impacts, sustainable development, natural hazards, disaster risk reduction and assessment frameworks. She is actively involved in science communication-related activities and she is a member of the editorial team of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) Natural Hazards Division Blog.
