CAA International (CAAi) and Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA) have announced a partnership that will see GAA become an authorised CAAi training centre
Working in cooperation, over 15 CAAi training courses will be available at GAA’s training centre in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The courses will cover multiple areas of aviation regulation and will be delivered in accordance with ICAO standards and recommended practices.
Maria Rueda, Managing Director for CAAi said, “We are delighted to be working in cooperation with GAA and able to deliver our regulatory training programmes and expertise in Bahrain. With passenger numbers set to double by 2037 in the Middle East, we are committed to developing the next generation of aviation professionals in the region, to support a safe and secure air transport system for all.”
The first course, Effective Fatigue Risk Management Systems, will take place at the end of March 2019, delivered by the UK CAA’s Human Factors Lead, Kathryn Jones.
Ammar Al Raees, Business Development Manager at GAA said, “GAA is proud to announce this partnership with CAAi, and run training courses here in Bahrain delivered by experienced UK CAA regulators. This partnership is another direct result of our new strategy at GAA towards covering the full spectrum of aviation and logistics training in the region”.
