The purpose of this MoU is to facilitate cooperation in areas of mutual interest and explore avenues for CAAi to partner with RCAA in aviation training, innovation, and research.
This cooperation will also aim to unearth trainees’ creative abilities to remain meaningful, relevant, useful, and champions of modernisation and innovation initiatives in all facets of the aviation industry.
Silke Buckley, Head of Training and International Operations, commented:
“We are delighted to sign this MoU with the Rwanda CAA and look forward to growing our partnership. Rwanda has become a key player in global aviation, especially within Africa. Together, by combining our efforts to deliver regulatory training, innovation, and research, we intend to support the development of civil aviation and upskill Africa’s aviation professionals and future leaders.”
Silas Udahemuka, Director General at the Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority, added:
“RCAA is pleased to partner with CAAi. CAAi has been a major contributor to the aviation industry in many areas, including but not limited to training. We look forward to synergizing our efforts to further advance the global aviation industry.”
The MoU was signed at the ICAO Global Implementation Safety Symposium in Seoul.
