CAA International (CAAi), part of the UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA), has delivered its first EASA Part-FCL (Flight Crew Licencing) examinations to students from Avion Training, at their satellite operation in Dalaman, Turkey.
Seven Avion Training cadets took part in the Part-FCL exams. The exam room was equipped by Avion Training and the facility was formally approved to UK CAA requirements. The exams were delivered using the UK CAA’s electronic examination system that uses EASA’s latest Part-FCL question bank. With multiple choice questions and variable question population, every examination is different to help eliminate the risk of candidates cheating. Diane Dutton, CAAi Manager for International Examinations supervised the delivery to ensure the examinations were delivered to UK CAA and EASA standards.
Patrick Griffioen, Chief Flight Instructor and Location manager for Avion Training in Dalaman said “We are really satisfied with the flexibility and positive approach of CAAi. This is a big step forward and perfectly fits in our mission to be a high quality international flight school.”
Avion Training, part of the Avion Group, is an EASA approved training organisation by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Netherlands. Avion Training is the only EASA approved training organisation offering Integrated and Modular Part-FCL courses in Turkey.
The next Part-FCL exam session is scheduled for September 2018, when more cadets are expected to be ready to start their exam series.
