Background

A Chinese European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 145 certified engineering organisation approached CAAi for technical training assistance to support expansion into Europe.

Requirements

The development and delivery of a bespoke training course combining EASA Part 145 Maintenance organisation approvals training and quality assurance & auditing skills techniques, to support their objective of enhancing their ability to meet the needs of their European Union (EU) customer base.

Approach

The course was delivered onsite in Xiamen, P.R. China, by a UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA) specialist who was able to tailor the delivery of the programme according to the exact needs and time scale of the client.

CAAi was able to meet successfully the needs of quality managers and production staff, as well as representatives of other parts of the organisation, including training, to ensure follow through in ongoing cascade training.

At CAAi, we support several Apprenticeship opportunities. We currently support the following Apprenticeship standards:

Level 3 Digital Business Accelerator Apprenticeship – this is an ideal apprenticeship if you are looking for a career in business administration, project management, data management and reporting.
Level 3 Learning and Design Apprenticeship – this is an ideal apprenticeship if you are looking for a career in Training delivery, learning solution design and Talent Development.
Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship – this is an ideal apprenticeship if you are looking for a career in Marketing and Communications.
Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship – this is an ideal apprenticeship for those who already have work experience and are a new or aspiring first line manager. The course is designed for those who manage people within their day to day activity and have responsibility of people processes.
Level 4 – Regulatory Compliance Officer Apprenticeship – this is an ideal apprenticeship if you are looking for a career in auditing, regulation, or compliance.
Level 7 – MSc Aviation Safety Management, Risk and Regulation – In partnership with Cranfield University, this is an ideal postgraduate course available as an apprenticeship for professionals working in aerospace and commercial air transport industries. It provides a globally unique offering that relates to the regulatory background of all aspects of aviation safety, including design, production, operations, and maintenance.
